QQC:2: From Amigos To Friends

Quote: "What's your address? I'll come over first thing tomorrow morning."
Tommy revved up the engine.
"I don't know it," Carlos said unconvincingly. "I'll see you at school. You better hurry up. You want to make your friend wait."

Question: Are David and Carlos going to continue to be best friends in the U.S or are they going to decsend from each other's live's?

Comment:I think that by the way David is already acting to Carlos he is already on his own path. David left on his double date with Tommy instead of hanging out with supposedly, his best friend Carlos. I know that most bestfriend that haven't seen each other in a very long time would put aside all other affairs. I think that he is going to loose Carlos all over again before he knows it. I just wonder what Carlos is going to do if they do seperate their friendship.
